People were so hyped about apps that hadn't been released and I hadn't even heard of. I found it super weird, so this is funny.
Idk, I used Apollo for r*ddit and use Wefwef for Lemmy. I'm doing okay

I actually have no good enough reason to switch to an app, the web app is more than good although text formatting doesn't work probably using Firefox but it works using nu.lemdro.id which lacks the option to easily use and format text
I feel like Connect still looks better. I somehow can't get the list spacing and don't size right in Sync.
Really looks like the reddit api change was the best thing that could have happened for these reddit app devs, as now they've got people lining up to pay them money and/or view ads on a platform that doesn't have ads in the first place.
Use liftoff
I've been using it and I haven't seen a single ad and it seems fine? I feel like there isn't an in-between of hating it and loving it more than life itself.
Are ads just not working yet or something? I don't see a reason to even pay unless you want to support him, which is totally fine to do.
The best Lemmy experience is mlmym IMO. It's pretty much a 1:1 recreation of old.reddit and it's the interface I am comfortable with.
