If you are on Android 13 you can set a language per app in the app info. You can get there by long pressing on it on the home screen.

I also want to switch back to English really bad. I got android 12 so no per app language.
The next app version seems to have a language picker. Until then, the next best solution is to change your language system wide.
I tried the alpha and it is broken atm as it goes back to system language at some point.
Huh, I'll try it out then. I've seen reports of settings getting dropped/replaced by other users as well.
Yeah, the whole UI is fucked up now and I prefer English for most apps anyways because troubleshooting is easier. I got android 8 though, so the post about android 13 doesn't work for me.
