The quality of the audio in the trailer blew me away. I played the first game on PC with a good stereo and it was great. This game looks like it will be incredible. I'm pretty hyped for it now.

The atmosphere and visuals of the trailer were incredible, although it would have been nice if they showed off some gameplay footage. It’s not clear to me how “in-engine” cinematics will translate to the actual game. I haven’t played the first game, though. Would people recommend checking it out before the sequel comes out?
The first game is excellent despite mediocre combat and puzzles. The story, atmosphere, visuals, and audio experience are worth it.
Honestly that wouldn’t surprise me if it were gameplay footage. The way she moves through the cave before the “cutscene” feels just like the first game. There’s a good bit that’s just walking around between combat
