That is an absolutely ridiculous fee (not that I think anyone would pay it)

Chelsea would pay such a fee but they're the one selling, unfortunately for them.
If Havertz was worth 70m, then Chelsea wouldn't be selling him.
Highly doubt we'll bid that much. Even if we're interested in him we'll bid as much as we evaluate him and move to alternative options. There's always plan b, c, etc.
Don't Chelsea need to sell by the end of the month for FFP purposes? The price of the brick will come down, surely.
I guess they're hoping a club would be stupid/desperate enough to try to get him now rather than wait until later in the window. Either that or they really don't want to lose him, and hope that they can shift other players far lower in the pecking order to satisfy the FFP requirements.
I'm sure you're right, but they can get fucked, apparently no one wants their overpriced albatrosses.
Haha. Yeah I guess the Boehly masterclass didn't work. Can't amortize Albatrosses.
LOL We'll not be paying anywhere near that if we do get him.
Don't shoot the messenger lol. Just posting the article. Not my opinion.
We'll probably leave this until late in the window. We'd be foolish to spend that much on a player before our priority signings are finished.
No one buying from Chelsea also delays them competing with us on signing players
Halve it I reckon, Chelsea are in dreamland... Would definitely take him though!
I honestly think Chelsea are taking the piss with these prices. 80 for mount and 70 for havertz is insane
Chelsea screwing the market with their purchasing and then they want the same inflated prices for their dead weight players.
70m is a tough sell. On the upside, he is young and fits the age profile. I think there could be better ways of spending that kind of money.
