With Kafka and Ichikawa back at the cleaning company, I thought they would run into Kaiju No.9's disguise, but the scene was switched back to JAKDF quickly.

Of course, being the main character, even if he failed the exam he was still kept…… as comic relief.

Kafka bonded with the others through some muscle communication. Hoshina warned him not to get too involved though, as they were in dangerous business. An alarm sounded just in time before ending the episode.

You'd think that some doctor would have noticed something odd about Kafka when they gave him X-rays to determine his bones were broken after the exam, unless kaiju powers of transformation are really that good.

Same goes, more or less, for Kaiju No. 9, masquerading as a cleaner.

Everything in the base is recorded, good thing they went off base to "Bonniys" to talk to Shinomiya to talk about his kaiju-ness.
