Watching people do masonry with the footage sped up is peak /c/oddlysatisfying.

That will probably look pretty gorgeous once those stream banks re-vegetate, even better if they landscape it a bit.

There are a million channels making construction videos like this without voiceover. Lots of Dan's and bridges and stuff. They all started after John Plant's success with Primitive Technology.

Impressive. The red balls on sticks (lead screws) show how far the doors are open which controls the flow rate and this power being generated. They’re controlled by motors.
