I don't know much about cycling, I assume she was passing a large amount of performance-enhancing substances directly into his mouth?

French Kissing is notorious for passing objects between mouths. The French know this is fake intimacy - a real man would high five his wife. Or at most provide a brief hug. But prolonged contact? With a mucous membrane right after a sweaty sporting event? Disgusting. How could the French allow such unseemly behavior pollute cycling, the purest of all sports?

Strange. All of the commentators I saw were talking about how that was one of the best moments so far. "What cycling is all about". I believe he was passing through his home town during the first time trial stage and received a huge welcome. He slowed down to wave and receive his welcome and kiss his wife. UCI is going overboard.
