Not usually a fan of this kind of thing, but against Ticketmaster? Fuck. Them.

I agree with the sentiment, but as usual i feel like the only people who are going to get screwed here are the people who want to go see their bands live…

Yeah, that does suck and in reality, it's Live Nation that needs to suck a fat dick.

Ticketmaster is just part of a much larger issue: https://investors.livenationentertainment.com/sec-filings/annual-reports/content/0001193125-08-043193/dex211.htm (All Live Nation subsidiaries)

The last time I went ticket searching for something, it really seemed that there was some kind of circlejerk going on between most of the main sellers as well, but I don't know enough about the industry. (It'll just piss me off if I go digging.)

Ever since Ticketmaster and Live Nation merged, they are the only player in most places. And in places that there might be other players since they are controlling venues and tickets now they can just blacklist artists that refuse to use both.

Shame, couldn't of happened to a nicer company. At least they have that fed lawsuit to look forward to.

i mean, fuck ticketmaster, but couldn't they just cancel all the stolen tickets and generate new ones?

Haven't they retro engineered how ticketmaster tickets system works and can now literally make new "real" tickets? From what I understood
