Of course, continuing this research I believe is important. Still, I don't like the framing of this article. It seems to me like it says something like conspiracies vs science. In reality there are plenty of valid concerns and criticism that come from within the scientific community, and only a few are mentioned in this article and very briefly.

Engineers arent healing Earth. We heal Earth by: · withdrawing our grip, · practicing coliving with nature and our peers, · nurturing ourselves and our surroundings, · give a helping hand to those in need, · bringing power to people, not grippers.
I would never suggest this is the way forward, but the headline does say “help save”. I think a lot of this tech is BS. People put too much stock into things like carbon capture and other tech. But it might be a small piece of the solution
It might also be used as an inefficient way of papering over the cracks instead of addressing the root causes of the climate crisis.
