Running from October 26, 2024, to February 16, 2025, this showcase focuses on the iconic game developer, Midway. Known for legendary titles like Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam, visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore Midway’s history through interactive displays and hands-on gaming experiences featuring 15 playable arcade classics. Admission is set at $12, with discounts available.

This exhibition aims to offer an in-depth look into the company's game development approach and its influential impact on the arcade scene throughout the 90s. This exhibit promises an immersive journey through one of video gaming’s most significant eras.

Surely Gauntlet has to be there.

The huge Gauntlet Legends cabinet blaring its sound effects at the local arcade is etched into my memory. That and Time Crisis 3.

Not sure what “the Chicago museum” is, but this exhibit will be at The Cleve Carney Museum of Art, located in Glen Ellyn, IL. This is ≈20 miles outside of Chicago, IL.
