They're able to skirt the illegality with bullshit arguments about it being a volunteer work project. But let's be honest, these people are paying to be a part of the Israeli army and support them, enabling their genocide.

Can you imagine the fit that the government would throw if there was something similar for the Russian army?

I'd be against that because I'd be against what the Russian Federation's position in the Ukraine war means.

But change the above to Ukraine instead of Russia, and it'd have my full support.

"While there is a connection between the volunteer and the IDF, there is no evidence of a formal relationship."

That sounds like very clever lawyering.
