Apple TV+ Community
This is a community for Apple TV+ discussions (the service, not the Apple TV device).
Here you can discuss news about shows, changes to the service and other matters.
New episodes of shows tend to drop at midnight UTC. Daylight savings may or may not shift this an hour.
Rules:
Spoilers:
- No spoilers
Civility:
- Always be respectful and be civil
- Remember the human
- Don't get baited by trolls, see someone be a dick, block/report and walk away
Piracy:
- Don't ask for or share any pirated material, this includes "clever" hints
Links:
- Don't editorialize links. Use the article's title as the title of your post
Off-topic:
- Keep posts and comments relevant to the service in general and news about new content
- Try to keep episode discussions in the relevant communities, you're free to (cross)post to/about episode discussion threads in relevant communities
- No tech support
Bootstrapping:
- For the time being, to bootstrap the community, crossposts of archived Reddit posts by the Lemmit bot that show up in [email protected] are allowed
- Try to be logical about crossposts
- Crossposting questions the answer to which would only specifically benefit the OP (who is on Reddit and can't read replies), is useless
- Crossposting questions that could lead to comments with information that would benefit members of the community are fine
- Lemmit crossposts need to be tagged with [Lemmit]

I know it’s between seasons 🤞🏼 but I have been jonesing to talk about Schmigadoon! with smart people. Though I may be the only one…
Smart person? Probably! I've really enjoyed Schmigadoon. Has it been confirmed there will be a 3rd season?
The showrunner has said he has ideas on where to go, but with the strike there’s been no movement on anything officially. I finally binged the 1st 2 seasons after a bunch of people told me to do so. There was so much detail and so many Easter eggs
While separate threads keeps things near, it more often than not feels empty around here.
I wonder if it’s overall better for the community starting up to coalesce some of these threads into a more centralized location. At least until it’s that you need to split them up. It might even help with knowing about other shows (old and new) if they’re more easily discoverable.
One thing I want to steer clear of is spoilers for those who aren’t caught up on a show. In my experience, individual episode discussions work best to properly compartmentalize an ongoing discussion about a show.
Given that this is a sub for a whole streamer and not just a show, I’d be down to create single posts for individual seasons that have fully aired, but if something is happening week-to-week, we should either follow it every week, or wait until finale to create an official thread.
I can appreciate not wanting to spoil the episode for others, but maybe individual threads make more sense than entire separate groups.
I don’t know how many people are going to travel back after the entire series is done. While at the episode level, when there is so much mystery unfolding, the need to want to discuss it with others, I feel, is stronger there.
Of course we’d need to use spoiler features for “thar be monsters” in the comments, but perhaps it’s worth a try? Maybe with the Godzilla series?
I don’t know if I follow your vernacular. What do you mean by separate groups?
