Why not? It's not crossing an abyss. I'd be more worried about losing my footing than the bridge collapsing in any case.

Why not? The wood that's there looks very solid like old railroad ties. It's not going anywhere
My worry would be about slipping and falling on an old nail sticking out of rotten wood or something
If that's not going anywhere, then where did the rest of the wood go?
There's a bridge I used to walk on (it was blocked off from public use tho) that was suspend about 3 metres above a river that was missing the entire middle section of wood floor planks, I used to had to walk across this thin bar on my toes while holding this rusted railing.
I'd skip across this bridge.
