I love barefoot toe shoes but you have to get used to them. If you're using them regularly, they're so much more healthier on your joints. Basically all your weight is just on your muscles and achilles tendon.

Basically the summary was ‘it’s complex’. If your feet are wearing conventional shoes for the rest of the week and you just use barefoot for running, there will be quite a strain on the foot and the calf and the Achilles, if running - so ease yourself in with light occasional use
