As I see it, he's a great, prolific artist, seen above with Le Cycle de Cyann.
Amazing, he somehow makes the hillside and vehicle look so real, perfect inking, beautiful colors

I remember reading one or two parts of the Cyann series as a teenager and appreciating Bourgeon´s style. Thanks for reminding me of it. Time to finally get and read the whole series in the correct order I guess :)
Would your reading of Cyann have been in German or English? I don't think I've seen it translated to ENG so far.
Side note: my French-learning seems to go well for longer & longer periods, then I get pissed off or discouraged about something, then sulk for a few days. Right now I'm definitely in that psychological sulking phase. :S
Point is-- Cyann would still give me some trouble reading in French, so I would need to lamely retreat back to English for this one.
I read it as a kid and at that time I read everything in German.
Did you try re-watching your favorite TV shows in french, with french subtitles on? That way you have the advantage of already knowing the plot and dialogues in englisch and you can pause and google whenever a word that you don´t know comes up. It's how I got good at English while watching The Simpsons, maybe it works for you too.
This is great advice, and I don't do it as often as I should. It really is amazing how well that can work..
I love the Simpsons, and I salute your method of learning, but the fact is this-- you're not just a nice guy, but you're DAMN intelligent. Don't try this at home, kids!
