Any recommendations for a splitwise equivalent for android? An initial search on fdroid only shows apps last updated in 2019. "Split it easy" lacks the ability to split bills paid by multiple people. I also liked the ability to use foreign currency in splitwise.

I am using Cospend together with my nextcloud. There is an Android app (Moneybuster) and iOS app (PayForMe) aswell. Worked quite nice so far.

Great, definitely more of a learning curve compared to splitwise, but looks promising. Thank you.

I'd love to know too. Ideally I want something where the other people can't delete the payment

I was willing to pay for that feature but they don't want to implement it

IHateMoney.org is a nice self hosted FOSS option, joining groups and organising users is dead easy, but the iOS app sucks.

I personally prefer SettleUp despite it being closed source, I find its functionality a lot better than Splitwise

Why not stay with Splitwise? The free version I've got allows to set multiple unequal payers and split (un)equally...

I may very well stick with splitwise given that most friends are familiar and there are nice features. Just wanted to know if a Foss alternative can even come close.

Oh, my bad, somehow missed we're on the foss community. No, I don't know any foss alternative
