The joke is always on the old.
You shut your whore mouth!
Mom, grandpa's calling people whores again!
I still remember all the online chatter about Heath Ledger getting cast as the Joker. The guy from Brokeback Mountain and A Knight's Tale?
Then he gives us the most iconic live action Joker potrayal which hasn't really been been surpassed in 15 years.

15 years ago, I was... in my 30s.
So I wasn't all that young then either.
What a great film
I didn't like it.
Eh it's not for all, mind me asking why you didn't?
My point of view is maybe a bit strange: I was 22 years old when the film came out. Of those 22 years, I was a little Batman fan for at least 17 years. I loved the whole saga, the series, the movies, and Batman was a huge hero to me.
This film degraded my hero in my eyes. He wasn't nearly as cool as the Joker. In every scene you rightly waited for Ledger to come and say a cool line. This film revolved around the terrific performance of Heath Ledger. Unfortunately, as an old Batman fan, it wasn't mine.
Yeah, thanks for that...
If good movies can still be good after any period of time I can be young at any age.
Ah you think dark knight is your ally? You merely adopted the dark knight. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the movie until I was already an old man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!
Fuck.
I most definitwly did not need to know this...
I will have you know that my neck is only slightly sore from just sleeping.
I hate you.
Ah right, that allegory supporting the overreach of the Bush administration - but everyone likes Batman so when he does it it’s ok.
And it's still unmatched by all Batman movies that came after...
The Batman is damn close, though. I had low expectations going into it, but it's about tied with Dark Knight in my opinion.
I agree, The Batman was amazing
It's great, but the act 3 kinda ruined it
Why so old?...
That was like 7 Star Wars films ago.
Fuckkkkkkk....
Man...this movie didn't age well did it? The fuck was Bale doing with that sore throat voice? And why was the Batsuit so clunky? Isn't Batman supposed to be agile and master in hand to hand combat.
You mean that shitty cop drama with a batman skin spray-painted on top?
Tell me you haven't watched it lol
I watched and it sounds accurate. Easily the most overrated movie of all time.
If you compare Batman to a cop drama, I'm very curious what cop dramas you watch... it's certainly nothing like CSI lmao
If you are boiling it down to the absolute basics, I guess you can try to say that. But at that point, damn near any movie where the main character is trying to stop a criminal of some sort is a "cop drama".
Die Hard is a cop drama.
Every James Bond is just a cop drama.
Even 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' is a cop drama.
Like yea, you can make that stretch, but you're using such broad strokes that "cop drama" is meaningless.
