Is this as much of a pain in the ass as I remember? Do I still need to patch the download and then block Adobe in my hosts file, or has the process changed?

The last time I tried to do this, I actually found zero torrents that worked. All of them gave you keys that had long since been banned by Adobe. I'm on Mac if it matters.

Anyone in here know anything about this? I posted this morning, but that vanished. Odd.

I think a common factor on why torrents are having a resurgence and illegal streaming services are getting more traction, is subscription fatigue. Subscription fatigue doesn't only contain itself to streaming services, movies or music, nowadays you're also expected to subscribe to every app you download. Whether it's a meditation app, a budgeting app (looking at YNAB that went from a one-time purchase to a really expensive subscription model), the Adobe suite, the MS Office suite, your Peloton bike that you've already paid hundreds of dollars for (referencing the earlier article on them establishing a startup fee for buying used bikes), or a podcast app where the money doesn't even go to the podcasters themselves.

Is there a peak for this? I feel like subscriptions are becoming more of a rule than an exception. Having the ability to directly purchase digital goods seems more like a thing of the past. It's just so stupid. But apparently people don't care? They just keep paying for this? Apparently it's still worth it for companies to establish a subscription model, even if there are no benefits for the customer, just the company. What are your thoughts? What can we do to stop it?

Basically the title 👆, but I'm mostly interested in any of these; Axel Armani EA automation bot, Alpha Striker SMC King V2, FundedEA Deluxe, FXCrusher TradePilot, and Blue Edge Titan X. Feel free to recommend any others.

Thx in advance!

Most of the time I'm able to find the games I want, but now that I can finally afford a Vita and will be ordering one at the end of the month and homebrewing it, I realize I don't have any games except for PSP and PS1. The sites I know of that are safe don't seem to carry them. Not even nyaa outside of a couple of random things. So help?

How can I use my VPNs port forwarding feature while also disabling global routing by adding “route-nopull” in the OpenVPN config? Using hide.me vpn

I found a relevant post, but the links to the anwsers don't work anymore: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/127557/openvpn-client-port-forwarding-route-nopull-issue

I understand that the solution will be always to use free( Open Source/Public Domain) stuff instead of Propietery stuff.

But in the cases where there is still not something free, is there is a list of companies which is fine with pirating their products aka don't issue DMCA request whenever they see their products getting pirated?

I'd like to play an old classic witch has never made it to modern consoles or steam, I found this site but I don't know if I can trust it

This is something I'm running into currently. I was curious what automatic methods there are for IDing files and bulk renaming, organizing, and updating meta data existed.

I have reasonable collection of movies and TV shows to archive.

Only recently discovered yt-dlp, despite its popularity. However I was wondering if I were to use this, should it be used behind a VPN when downloading videos off public websites?

I am looking for a crack of this game for so long

I am getting the following error after upgrading yt-dlp

ERROR: [Piracy] This website is no longer supported since it has been determined to be primarily used for piracy. DO NOT open issues for it

Does anyone know any forks that still works.

Torrenting this show isn't an option. Every torrent I've tried has this specific episode missing, with a duplicate episode in its place. Most of the streaming sites do, too. The only stream I've found is on vidsrc.me, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to download it.

I've searched around and found multiple recommendations for video downloader sites, and several people suggested the Firefox extension DownThemAll!, but I've had no luck. It's a generic "can't find video" message every time.

I'm guessing these apps and sites worked at some point but they updated their API. Hoping against hope that someone who's done it recently can tell me how they did it.
