🔱Operational information as of 10:00 p.m. 05/22/2024 regarding the Russian invasion.

❗️The main summary:

🔵 Today, the enemy concentrated its efforts in the Kharkiv region, as well as in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions.

🔥Units of aviation, missile troops and artillery inflicted fire damage on four areas of concentration of personnel, two control points, two control stations of UAVs, one EW device, two cannons and S-400 air defense system. Information on the results of the damage is being clarified.

🔵 Since the beginning of the day, 121 combat clashes took place, the enemy launched four missile strikes with five missiles, 37 airstrikes using 47 anti-aircraft missiles and 376 kamikaze drone strikes, carried out 3280 attacks on the positions of our troops using various types of weapons.

🔵In the Kharkiv direction, 8 enemy attacks were repulsed in the areas of the villages of Lyptsi and Staritsa. Fighting continues in the Pletenivka-Vovchansk direction. The situation is controlled by the Defense Forces, our defenders are putting up a decent fight back.

🔵 In the Kupyan direction, the defense forces repelled 22 attacks by invaders. Four combat clashes are still ongoing in the districts of Berestovo and Makiivka. The situation is under control.

🔵 Today, six attacks by the occupiers were repelled in the Lyman direction. The enemy had no success.

🔵On the Siverskyi direction, two enemy attacks are ongoing in the Vyimka area. The situation is under control. During the current day, eight more attempts by the enemy to advance in the direction of Bilogorivka and Verkhnyokamyansk were unsuccessful.

🔵 In the Kramatorsk direction, the number of clashes increased to 10. The defense forces held their positions.

🔵In the Pokrovsky direction, the number of attacks increased to 25. In particular, the enemy is trying to penetrate our battle formations with assault groups and equipment. 2 more FABs crashed Russian planes in the Belgorod region in 24 hours, ASTRA sources

Ukraine will receive the first delivery of funds stemming from the revenue of frozen Russian assets in July, the European Commission said on May 21.

Ukraine's Western partners and other allies froze around $300 billion in Russian assets at the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022. Roughly two-thirds are held in the Belgium-based financial services company Euroclear.

In March, the European Commission submitted a proposal on using 90% of the generated funds to purchase weapons for Ukraine and allocate the remaining 10% to the EU budget to support the country's defense industry.

After many weeks of debates, EU ambassadors reached a political agreement on the proposal on May 8.
