On Friday, November 8th, a Total Cargo aircraft was destroyed after it caught fire and conducted an emergency landing in São Paulo. The Total Cargo aircraft, which is operated by Total Linhas Aereas, was operating a domestic cargo flight from Vitória–Eurico de Aguiar Salles International Airport (VIX) in Vitória, Brazil, to Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) in São Paulo, Brazil. This was a routine-scheduled cargo flight, which is typically operated as TTL5682. However, the aircraft was forced to conduct an emergency landing after the crew received a cargo fire notification on the flight deck. The aircraft was heavily damaged by the cargo fire, and because of the substantial damage, it is likely that the aircraft will be written off.
