A remastered and upscaled version of the never commercially released MST3K episode Quest For The Delta Knights. Possibly, the best quality version anywhere outside of the vault with the MST master tapes in it.

This is the fully reconstructed version, with intro, host segments, and credits. Multiple sources of varying quality were used to piece everything back together, for technical reasons the frame rate of all the clips was converted to 24fps to match the movie frame rate.

Enjoy!

Pretty interesting find! This was apparently a lost riff of Cinematic Titanic that was never filmed, though it was performed live! So, someone synced up a really good sounding recording, with the film, and we got this!

Dave "Gruber" Allen takes the place of Josh, who was out sick.

Clips are from my favorite MST3K episode "The Undead". A delightfully dreadful film from 1957 directed by the king of B-movies, Roger Corman.

Overdrawn At The Memory Bank - (1984)

The mind of a computer programmer forced to take a virtual vacation is removed by a totalitarian government and accidentally trapped in the virtual reality simulation. He must find a way out before he expires.

In the regimented world of the future, five major corporations wield total control over men's minds and actions. But a few men still remain strong enough to resist and romantic enough to dream.

Aram Fingal (Raul Julia) is just such a man. Refusing to submit to the mindless monotony of his world, Fingal punches up endless reruns of "Casablanca" on his video display terminal. Until, in a strange mechanical mix-up his identity and Rick Blaine's become FUSED within Novacorp's computer bank.

Fingal is suddenly plunged into a parallel reality within the central computer. Only now, "Casablanca" is not just flickering fiction on his screen, but a frightening reality. Now, the Fat Man throws "real" poison darts. Now the police shoot real bullets and Pierre really die. Now, Rick Blaine is a FLESH AND BLOOD hero headed straight for identicube destruction!

Starring: Raul Julia

Color--Running Time: 85 minutes

This made-for-public-television classic and MST3k favorite is presented unriffed, uncut, and digitally restored, with approximately 12 minutes of footage that was cut from the MST3k version.

Overdrawn At The Memory Bank never made it to DVD, and never got any kind of an high quality HD release... Until now, this movie was only available on out of print VHS tapes, and an ultra-rare Laserdisc release, which was used for this restoration project.

Greetings, backers.

Well, we’ve come to the end of the month, and the end of the Turkey Day Marathon and this campaign.

While we’re incredibly grateful for all of the support, enthusiasm, and encouragement, it’s clear we’ve fallen short of our goal this time.

First, to be clear, please understand that that means that no one will be charged anything, and we will not be collecting anything that you pledged to this campaign , since the agreement was that we’d only collect funds if we reached our minimum goal. No charges will be put on anyone’s credit cards.

Second, and more important, please know that we’re incredibly grateful for all of your input, feedback, concerns and questions, and are thinking about all the suggestions you have made over the past month.

One silver lining is that the continued support for this campaign, and the show, may have opened up some new conversations about potential partnerships and fundraising that could be key in getting the show another season.

We’ll spend some time now exploring those, and working to integrate all of the feedback and suggestions we’ve heard from you, and will follow up again next year, Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, when we’ve had a chance to regroup and have more to share downstream.

For now, whether you pledged or not, please accept our thanks and gratitude for your ongoing dedication and investment in MST3K.

We’re proud that the show continues to mean so much, to so many, and will keep working to figure out a path forward so that we can hopefully continue to #MakeMoreMST3K.

Until then, have a wonderful holiday season, and thanks again for all of your support.

Cheers and Thanks,

Joel and Team MST3K

Space Mutiny

1988 - Not Rated - 1h 31m

A pilot is the only hope to stop the mutiny of a spacecraft by its security crew, who plot to sell the crew of the ship into slavery.

It would be sad if it weren't so pathetic.

OK, folks! Don't worry, I won't be giving away anything important, although I don't think I could spoil this movie if I tried. So off we go...

As what sounds like Kintaro's arrangement of 'O Fortuna' wafts our way, we are subjected to the film's opening credits. They look like they were produced by a Commodore 64 and they freeze up more than once because there are too darned many moving objects on the screen.

Welcome to Battlestar Galactica-- I mean, the Southern Sun! This ship is home to an entire civilization, despite the fact that 90% of it appears to be a brewery. In charge of this magnificent flying basement is Captain Santa Claus, assisted by his Billy-Idol-wannabe sidekick. I've seen this movie at least a dozen times and still am not really sure what the plot is, but it has something to do with a greasy-haired guy named Kalgan trying to disrupt the transportation of a bunch of magical -- and (of course) extremely horny -- women. Santa puts our seemingly brain-damaged hero Ryder in charge of defeating Kalgan. Meanwhile Captain Santa's daughter Leah, who somehow doesn't seem much younger than the Captain himself, gets pretty chummy with Ryder. In the words of Crow T. Robot: "If you pretend you know what's going on, it's actually kind of exciting."

Watch and enjoy the following: Vacu-formed unitards, ridiculously small weapons, Santa's incredibly fake beard, tinfoil muu-muus, Kalgan's giggling fits, Ryder's bizarre reaction shots, a woman who punches in at work despite the fact that she was just murdered, Leah's sensual Dance of the Hoola Hoop, the most '80s bar scene EVER, women who reeeeeally like Van DeGraf Generators, countless shots of computer screens (graphics by Kenner), Ryder's attempt to say 'auxiliary', and numerous molasses-fast chase scenes involving golf carts... or floor waxers or something.

This movie is not campy; it's just that everything is wrong in all the right ways. Acting, sets, lighting, costumes, dialogue... they're all just plain goofy. These folks tried to make an exciting space-drama -- and maybe it would've been if they had dared to take ANYTHING up a notch -- but every aspect of it just says, "space movie" and nothing more.

If this movie was just plain bad, you might have to feel sad for the people that made it, thinking it would work. However, it makes such a leap into the ridiculous that you just have to laugh. A must-see for fans of so-bad-it's-good movies. And whether you love or hate sci-fi, this is a very funny movie.

I give it a 4 -- it may not affect you the way it's supposed to, but it's great entertainment."

Steven McClintock - Edge Of A Dream - (Unofficial Music Video) [HD]

Edge Of A Dream is PEAK 80's! I'm not sure why this song and a couple others from this artist weren't major hits, and never got the music video treatment. If there's one redeeming quality to the movie Space Mutiny, it's that it featured this 3 minutes and 55 seconds of 1980's audiological excellence. As a tribute to both I have crafted this music video from restored and upscaled footage in the hopes that others will enjoy it and not let it be forgotten.
