Charlie Clouser knows that the Saw movies aren’t for everybody. “It has its dedicated little weirdo fanbase that is rabid about it, but it’s very much a niche within a niche, and it’s become even more so as the franchise evolved.”

It’s an evolution he’s gotten to observe intimately, as the composer who’s worked on every film since the original Saw, released 19 years ago this October. And with Saw X, Clouser breaks a big record, as he’s now the first American to score 10 films within the same franchise — beating John Williams’ iconic run on nine Star Wars films.

I've not had a very good day.

But sitting in a comfy chair, some soft lighting on, with this album playing is helping to soothe the jagged edges.of today.

There's a reason I keep coming back to Nine Inch Nails, and it's because there's a track or album for whatever I'm feeling.

It's a shame these discs are never going to get spun, but since Reznor started crapping out remasters on vinyl I wanted to create a display of the three albums that defined my love for NiN. Quake was actually my gateway drug into NiN; I really hope that if there is a Quake reimagining in the pipeline that somehow Reznor/Ross are onboard...

At least they came with high-def FLACs that I can pump through my studio speakers...well, all but Quake, which I'm still annoyed at...!

Anyone do anything with their frisbies? Or maybe with the physical components of the recent trilogy, old t-shirts, etc.?

(And yes, the Quake album and Downward disc look 'odd' 'cos I blurred out people in the photo!)

Hard Copy does a segment on the FBI's investigation on Nine Inch Nails' music video, Down In It.

"In 2000, while in Australia for the Fragility Tour, Trent Reznor was invited to host Rage, an Australian music video show on ABC where-in Trent chose videos that were important to him, spoke about why he picked what he picked as well as promoting his then newest album, The Fragile."

In case any of you didn't know this was out there or don't have it yet.

This album singlehandedly helped me and helps me get through the worst points of my life.

Probably my favorite performance of the latter song, but I also appreciate this for the combination of both. Seeing The Fragile vinyl encouraged me to search for this again.

I managed to get a copy of the Definitive Edition version of The Fragile!

One of my favorite performances, the wind moving the curtains and the ambiance makes me feel like I'm transported there. Rob's YouTube channel has a ton of great NIN videos.

One of my favourite live performances.
