I really, really suggest this audio-book version of A Song of Ice and Fire over Roy Dotrice's official version (which sucks, btw).

Listen to this version.

Not to the official version.

Dewit, if you like A Song of Ice and Fire.

Love these!

I hope everyone else enjoys this episode.

I didn't know about the recent call for more colonialism in Africa by Erik Prince till now.

If anyone has any more info on that, let me know.

Thanks!

Video is about 50 minutes long.

You can listen to it while you're doing other things.

Glad they touched on the AFL-CIO and the recent developments in the labor movement, especially vis a vis the South.

Full title is:

Thank you!

That's just the title; the video has more to do with other stuff than just Taylor Swift LMAO

But yeah, enjoy, comrades.

I think these are the same folk that made Vampyr?

I could be wrong.

Anyway, enjoy the trailer. Lord knows this video game could use more attention. Nobody seems to be interested...

It's been making waves in the community.

So... amazing. Never seen anything like it.

This, and Hbomberguy's recent video have been great surprises.

The "Unending Layoffs" section goes starts at 2:44 of the video.

Lasts about 14 minutes, but it's quite powerful.

Also, I'm at around the 1:00:00 mark and they've mentioned the "live-service bubble" here and there. What can I say? I like Easy Alllies, or EZA, for comments like that. I wish there were more "leftist" gaming podcasts, but I believe that EZA aren't ostensibly "leftist" and I've only started listening to them within the last month.

They avoid politics for the most part, which is why I was surprised to hear all this.

Oh yeah, and they accepted their trans friend and she's a valued member on the show.

Yes, it's the Mormon dude. I know, I know.

But I was recommended this by a communist friend in PSL who said I needed it and highly recommended it and said that, according to contacts he knew, he's... err, had misgivings about the faith (not sure if I should say it here).

I'm going to start these now and see if I find them useful. Wish me luck. Just need the advice, is all.

It's a good watch.

I didn't know about the Zelda theme that plays at the beginning of Ocarina of Time till now, for example.

Also, video is 25:44 in case you want to invest; I used the picture-in-picture option to switch tabs while watching it.

Good interview!

I humbly ask that you all subscribe and comment to help with the algorithm.

And also, subscribe just 'cause this is honestly the best podcast channel for Southern out there.

The Republican Party is turning increasingly fascistic with the Democrats just tailing them.

I'm quite concerned over this election.

I'm trying to get more people to subscribe to this person.

I really feel that they're doing their best and I want to help 'em out. Besides, I like the reviews, though the choice of books are a bit trite, I think. Too much of the same recs, I feel, that you see everywhere else.

Is anyone else also into "BookTube" or "BookTok"?

Just discovered this person randomly, kinda by accident. I saw his video, saw that he had only a few views at best, and decided to watch. I try to patronize YouTube channels that are "new" (not sure of anyone really does the same). I wanted to also promote it as well to help him out.

On another note, does anyone feel that YouTube algorithms are somehow "better" now? Compared to where they were before? I'm actually discovering interesting stuff now.

There's a video within the article right here.

I subscribed to the channel as well; glad I found it.

The video itself is 46 minutes and 21 seconds.
