If the Kroger-Albertson's merger goes through (late August 2024), then the OC Albertson's and Safeway stores would be sold to New Hampshire-based C&S Wholesale Grocers (Piggly-Wiggly, Grand Union).

To provide residents a safe location for private party transactions, including online purchases and for child custody transfers, Oregon City Police has created "Safe Exchange Zones" located at the Robert Libke Public Safety Building. Two designated zones are available-the public parking lot and building lobby; both zones are under 24/7 video surveillance.
