Hi, I'm currently annoyed. I had gotten a notification popup about a response to something that I posted in a subreddit that is not on Lemmy yet. When I tried to check my notifications for it, it just says "Turn on notifications" when I already have notifications on and I don't know how to fix this. I have tried to post in r/help about it, but it fails to saying "There was an error. Please try again later." and I'm not sure what to do now about this.

I have gotten back from vacation earlier today and I have noticed that I had been getting Server Errors on and off when trying to login. A couple days ago, it kept saying it doesn't recognize the login when I was entering the correct password. The only reason I still go into Reddit is because I'm a mod, most likely the most active one, of a subreddit. On top of that, I kept making me do cloudflare recaptchas even though I'm not a bot and don't have VPN enabled.

So I see a bunch of subreddits are still down from last year's protest. Is it wise to do this, or to do something else? Like, if you're a sub mod is it good to private the sub and go to a different site and redirect people, or will reddit ban your account if you do this too much, or what do you think is the best way to respond to last year's confusion? The problem is still a lot of people use Reddit... so what's the best way to handle where Reddit is at right now? Mods privating subs?

Sometimes it redirects to some "nice hat" page

I was trying to post about a login issue I'm having on Reddit at this time where it is rejecting my correct password for my account on there even though I'm putting in the correct password. The only way I can get around it is by doing a password reset request, then try to change my password to the current one which it tells me that I can't change it to my current password, and then close out of that and try to login again which it then works. I don't even know if there is some sort of flag on my Reddit account that is causing me this issue, even though I already have close to 250 post karma and 90 comment karma.

However, when I post about this in r/help to see if there is any help or suggestions for this, it ends up getting removed immediately by AutoMod there that thinks I was asking about changing my username on Reddit which you can't, and my post had absolutely nothing to do with needing to change my username which makes this infuriating.

This is what the post was over there and it does not have anything to do with changing my username on Reddit.

*Hi, I have recently been noticing I'm having some login issues here where it is rejecting my correct password even though I'm putting in the correct username and password.

The only way I'm getting it to work is when I request to reset my password, try to change my password to the current password which it tells me that I can't use my current password, close out of that and try to login in again which then it works.

I'm not sure if there is some sort of flag on my account that is causing me issues, even though I already have close to 250 post karma and 90 comment karma.*

Hi, I was told to post about this here by the mod, so I have decided to post it here to see what you think.

Anyway, I'm a koala lover who has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and has OCD. Sometime ago, I came across a koala subreddit on Reddit and thought that I could be welcome there among other koala lovers in there.

So, I made a post there and during the time I was writing it, I thought that it wouldn't be against the rules since the subreddit only had two rules, and I was not trying to sell anything nor was I running a fundraiser for something.

The post remained there for days waiting to see if anyone decides to respond and talk to me. I don't know when it was removed by the mods, but I did not see that until early this morning right before I needed to get to bed.

Since I was frustrated at the time and possibly not thinking clearly, plus the fact Reddit doesn't even have an accessible ModLog like Lemmy to find out what the hell was wrong with my koala related post to warrant removal, I made a post in the subreddit trying to get answers and in c/General being unsure as to what to do or where to go.

Right now, it seems that I'm getting disrespectful comments and no messages from anyone wanting to contact me about this, figure out if I need to start a new community on here or on Reddit, and see about figuring out what was wrong and try to get the issue resolved.

Anyway, here is a screenshot I managed to get of my first post in the koala community before it had been removed, by pulling it up via my profile.

To me it did, because the 9/11 narrative was based on a bunch of lies and so when "covid" rolled around I was ready for some of the lies that would be happening with this event.

We knew it was a bad idea to support any mandatory lockdowns from the beginning because we saw the destructive "Patriot Act" that came out after 9/11 which was abused.

The positive to me is that I think a lot of people did not go along with the lies enough, and a lot of people are awake and aware of any shenanigans that might be pulled on the population now going forward, even if they don't agree that "covid" responses were built on a bunch of lies.

Wtf do they want then ? Man I wish I could slap the OP

Just tell them that, dam...

What could possibly go wrong?

Maybe this will drive more people away from Reddit.

If anyone has more cases would be nice to know. For example if I create account with tor but post not from tor? Or If I create account without tor but post with tor? etc

another case: [POST, Tor created account, normal browser, cleaned cookies, same PC, post created short after creating account]: not shadowbanned but can't post, getting error "Sorry, this post was removed by reddit filters"

UPDATE: So I think if you try to post on sub from account that was banned on sub, reddit tags the title, body and image and so next time no matter the account if you try post same content, it wont go through. That's what happened to me at least. I tweaked a title a bit, and trimmed the image and reddit finally accepted it.

Will be updating this maybe. I'm trying to post something to community I was banned from.

edit: link to the post

She went great length talking about what she did correctly, that's massive red flag there, bc how the heck can two accidents happen independently without explanation? More red flags by how little concern she show on the cause (shouldn't be hard to recover btw), the said cause isn't convincing at all bc two are unrelated cats. The description of the accident "I was eating" that's saying to me like "I wasn't in contact with the cat, no way I am the killer."

She didn't ask for the cause at all, just posted it, looking for upvotes.

Post now went private as I expected (bc I exposed her?)

And all the beta males come in and try to say that there is no such thing as alpha males just because they aren't one oh my God this shit is so fucking hilarious

I can't find their comment. But they were saying ppl who commit suicide are pathetic losers. The next guy with the green profile pick encourages suicide bc ppl don't understand their suffering.

He was arguing with that guy saying how shitty it was for him to call ppl who commit suicide pathetic losers and how he has no compassion.

Then I commented I commented with my named marked out. Saying what I did

Okay so I was on Reddit looking at what women think of submissive men and and submissive men looking for dominant women in general.

And some guy posted that he's very submissive and he likes to be girly and stuff and he wants like a dominant masculine girl and I was going through the comments and I saw this one comment and it just made me fucking laugh my ass off it's fucking hilarious LOL

this was from /r/all, this was a foreseen crisis that a lot of millennial and now zoomer women have been very unmarried and chronically single and will at some point become unable to have kids (approaching that point now?)

honestly I've never been super focused on becoming a parent, I thought it was something that might happen, but I've also been pretty single throughout life and considered an intentionally celibate life

It was really always just about meeting the right person, and I've met some "ok" people I'm just not sure who would be the "right" person for me

The parents of some of these kids seemed to give them no warning that they have a timeframe to have kids within though
