Obviously it wasn’t. It’s a cross platform game for PC / PS3 / 360 / PS4 / XB ONE. However, consider the following:

  • 16:10 support
  • 60FPS at native resolution, with a mix of high and highest settings
  • Full controller support
  • No launcher
  • Mission structure suits handheld devices.

Missions are short, 10-30 minutes each. Very easy to dip into for a mission here and there. Similar to MGS Peace Walker (PSP game) which came before it.

It truly feels like a game made for a handheld, and I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.

Lately I've been getting bored of games quickly and it takes me quite some effort to stay interested in games. Because of this I usually play platform games or bullet hell games. Games that you can easily pick up. However, the Final Fantasy series has caught my interest because I've been hearing so many positive things about it for years and maybe it's time for me to try something new in gaming. Because of the amount of games in the FF franchise I really have no idea where to start. I did some research and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade are very well spoken about but which of these is most suitable for someone who has never played an FF game? And do they also function well on the Steam Deck? Or is there another title in the franchise that I would be better off starting with? Thanks in advance for answering my questions!

My friend has a steam deck and said red dead 2 runs well on it and I’ve been thinking about buying an oled one but I don’t really know any good solo games that are on steam that I haven’t played already. I like rogue likes and open world games (mainly Bethesda ones)

So, I bought a resident evil bundle, and of the 11 games included, I already owned 6. Therefore I have extra keys for the following games:

Revelations 2 episode 1 -TAKEN

Resident Evil -TAKEN

Revelations TAKEN

Resident Evil 5 gold TAKEN

Resident Evil 4 TAKEN

Resident Evil 0 remaster TAKEN

If you would like any of these games, DM me for keys. I'll try to update this post as keys are taken. BOTS NEED NOT APPLY!

Thank you.

THERE WILL BE MORE TO COME! My library is large, and darn near any bundles I get, there's extra keys, and the Steam deck people get them!

5 years ago my wife and I got twins. Our life's really turned upside down and the time for ourselves got way reduced to what it used to be. Even when they are early in the bed I had no urge to sit in front of my computer again to start a game. I had a PS5 and a Xbox series X console, but barely used them. Played sometimes on my Switch some casual games like Stardew Valley or Mario Wonder. But for higher spec games the Switch just doesn't cut it.

With the wish for more performance I bought myself the Steam Deck OLED. To try it out and see what the fuzz is all about. When it arrived I fell immediately in love with the format and size of the console. It feels really great and is not to large and also not to heavy for comfortable holding the console.

Then I started to install my first games on the console. My steam library is quite large but most of the newer games are barely played. I installed Dead Cells, Binding of Isaac and Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. So again more casual stuff but I already had a great time with those games. Then I checked out more games that are Steam verified and installed "Warhammer 40k Boltgun", which I never finished. Completed my playthrough in a few evenings on the couch.

But then I started to wonder, what kind of games also work the on steam deck. I looked through the catalog and found "Middle Earth: Shadow of War" which I also started back in the day when it was released. Installed it and I can't state how much I fell in love with this game on the Deck. The controls work perfect and with HDR support it also looks really great on the OLED Display. I can play a few missions, kill some commanders every now and then put the console in standby and come back later when I have the time. This feature alone is the device worth. To pick it up and play a few seconds again where I left of.

Just recently I tried the desktop view for the first time and was baffled what options I got from there as well. Installed Retro Deck with some roms and Doom with Brutal Doom which also worked flawlessly out of the box. I got some weird retro flashback to my PSP which I owned with all the options that I now have at hand.

I am really having fun with exploring all the options that I got with the steam deck. And I am really thankful for the device that Valve created for us gamers and gamers that used to game a lot. It really rekindled my love for games that I used to had.

PS: Don't worry, I still take care of my wife and kids 😄
