Due to these irreconcilable differences we thought it only right to allow the community to weigh in on defederating immediately.
According to this person "tankie" is anyone that criticizes the privilege of white westerners in the imperial core who have been privileged and comfortable their entire lives off of the backs of colonized people.

I just don't understand the use of tankie, maybe individuals have a consistent use for it but if I see it used anymore I generally think that person doesn't know wtf they are talking about.
You’d be correct for feeling that way. 95% of people are using it unironically and applying the term incorrectly. The other 5% are people identifying as tankies
