Welcome to our virtual third place, The Café.

Come on in and make a new human connection over a cup of coffee (or Teh Tarik). This is a casual community, do whatever you want, share your oyen pics, your frustrations, and even organize a weekend picnic with the community. The world is your oyster.

Rules are simple, be kind and civil with each other. As with any other café, rude patrons will be kicked out.

anyone here used Trapo car mats before? are they any good?

how thick are they? i want to find the thickest possible mat to mitigate NVH lol, everybit helps.

I have Trapo. Seems pretty durable, i bought them about 2 years ago during CMCO.

I think the overall thickness is 7 mm or so (more than half cm, less than one cm). However they are pretty lightweight so don't bet the farm on that.

Effect on NVH I cannot comment, my car doesn't have that problem so can't observe that.

hopefully won't deform too much?

are they easy to keep clean and tidy?

So far no deformation. They dont curl up at the edges like the cheapo coil mat that came with the car.

Easy to clean. The grooves and pits to collect dust are diamond shaped, so it doesn't actually trap dust. They just lets the particles drop inside. Easy to vacuum or flip out.

They are made to fit your car (assuming your car is on their list) so the fitment is very good.

Totally no regret buying them, I held off the purchase for so many years and suffered to peeling coil mat. Should have bought at least 2 years earlier.
