Lucas reflected on his life in work in a wide-ranging chat in Cannes, where he received and honorary Palm d'Or.

Grow up George. Those are Disney's movies, not yours.

( George Lucas said, "Grow up. These are my movies, not yours” when commenting on fans restoring the original movies instead of Lucas' version where Greedo shot first and Jabba was poorly CGI'd.)
