This is exactly how taxation, regulation and control of corporations should work.
Anyone and any company is free to do what they want, even if it means negatively affecting the health of people, as long as governments are able to penalize them appropriately for the damage they cause.
If we don't do this ... then we are just rewarding companies for destroying society and the more they do it, the more likely they will continue doing negative things and even more destructive things because they know it will make them money without any consequences.
Agreed. This is great to see, and I hope to see more of it. Let's hold business accountable for their impacts on our society.
