He told his coworkers and neighbor that if they didn't see him tomorrow he'd been murdered. So when he didn't show up for work they sent someone to check on him, the neighbour and the employee knocked on his window, then approached the front door and found blood so they called the police. The table had been set, for the kids. They never saw it.
