Does this get any better? Season one was a fun comedy but the politics were disgusting

The politics are largely ironic. The main joke is that everyone in the show is a terrible person.

Eh I would argue that the Cuba episode and the airplane episodes differ on how the subject matter is presented. In the Cuba ep it is played straight, while in the airplane episode Archer is depicted as a racist and is the butt of the joke

I don’t take the show seriously. I just mindlessly watch it lol. Politics wise, it’s whatever. They reference GLADIO and “overthrowing democratically elected governments” which is baby’s first realization about the CIA. They don’t really explore the themes though. Comedy wise, I got some laughs out of it. But most of the time I’m just watching with a straight face.
