I'm on version 1.48, & noticed the scrollbar still isn't following the accent colour, it's still orange...not a biggy of course..Cheers👍🏻
Thank you for reporting this. I'll fix it for the next update.
Thank you for all the updates, & all you're doing 👍🏼. Another thing I have noticed, as has been mentioned in another comment,. I use the app in omoled mode, and the text contrast, or whiteness is on point in Card view, however in compact and list, this is heavily reduced to grey.. wondering if this was deliberate? Thanks again..
It is deliberate. The card and list/compact views use different types of text. While the card view uses title styled texts (these are the fully white text), the list and card views use a generalized text style. The generalized text style is meant to be easier on the eyes while the title style is meant to have more emphasis.
You can definitely make an argument that post titles should all have the title styles. I can add a setting to adjust the text style used in compact and list mode for the next update. It shouldn't be too bad.
Thanks for the explanation, I can understand that some may prefer the lower contrast/grey text, we all have different preferences. Personally I prefer a whiter text on the black/dark background, so I switched to card view, as that suits me better... so there is a choice anyway..👍🏼
One of the main goals of the app is to make this app customizable for every person's preference so definitely please keep the feedback coming. I wouldn't know what settings to add otherwise.
To give a bit more background for why text is grey, this is more based on some ux and usability principles that essentially say pure blacks or pure whites on pure whites or pure black backgrounds causes eye strain.
