If you tried again I don't think it worked. Perhaps only admins can add mods. Let's ask @[email protected] if that's the case. Do mentions create user notifications/messages or do you have to message folks directly?

Yep, that summoned me. Existing mods should be able to add new mods. I'll mod the bot now anyway.
