Your taxes already go to various public programs, like infrastructure (roads and highways), Israel, public education, police, public services, paying off national debt, Israel again, social security, Medicare, veteran benefits, the salaries of public officials, Israel... Oh yeah, and food programs.

So, like, what's the problem?

The problem is I already pay way too much in taxes.

Then become a hermit and stop using roads, libraries, police or fire services, and EMT services. You're the only one keeping you from your tax free dreams.

Lol, just because they've already been stolen from me and used for that stuff doesn't mean I should stop using it.

I'm tired of paying more in taxes than people like you even gross every year just to be told I need to give it to you because unlike me, you were too lazy to pull yourself out of the gutter.

I was raised in extreme poverty. And now that I put in the work to get out of it every mfer with no drive or work ethic wants to bring me back down. I spent half my adult life working in homeless shelters doing real work to make a real difference instead of sitting behind my computer crying and whining.

Fuck Corp tax. Fuck social tax. And fuck your erroneous assumptions about me.

Dude. I'm set to retire before I'm 50, and I'm 43, also a veteran. I'm retiring in San Diego, the most unliveable city in the US. Paying taxes is the second most patriotic thing that a citizen can do. The fact that you view them as theft is a you problem. They are the dues that you owe society for treating you so well.

The four most patriotic things one can do are as follows in this order:

  1. Vote.

  2. Pay your damn taxes.

  3. Serve in local office, and maybe higher.

  4. Serve in the military.

The reason that the military is so low is that most people aren't a good fit for the military. We need thinking soldiers that will refuse an unlawful order, not mindless automatons that parrot every hateful lie they can.
