I feel this is a bit disingenuous. Especially as Michelin are working on airless tires. We all know that tires as we know them have planned obsolescence as a fundamental part of their design. They're already a blight on our environment, the only good thing to do now is to ensure that as few new tires are needed as possible, not for them to be green washed.

Construction sites aren't usually operating at high speed. Trying to bust through the plow line on a winter day and getting the tires packed with snow will have the car doing the humpy-hump down the highway.

I make you right, but I'm assuming the conditions you've set out are part of the test suite?

Not much of a tire if it can't handle snow or mud at speed.
