Oh wow, I'm always fascinated by art that can look incredibly realistic in places and yet with a total looseness, overall.
Yes, it's precision but with massive single strokes. If you squint it looks like a photo

And pretty much the farthest thing away from how I've typically created via my little painstaking pencils, inks and watercolors, lol.

I think she's using oils. Thick buttery, long working time. I'm definitely an oils person but my wallet doesn't thank me :0.

Yep I have those and gave up again. Pencils were certain easier though.
This is from last night Shiny things are pretty simple if you think of them as different gray shapes making a whole.
