My son and I were there in May, first time. We took a lot of photos too, a very photogenic place.
It is a beautiful place. It quite the dichotomy compared to the mountains. We had to drive through a town called Cloudcroft on our way, maybe thirty minutes away, and it still had snow on the ground.
