nye should be teaching engineering, not science
So science teachers also shouldn't teach science because they're not scientists?
That's not what "qualified" means.
People don't need to meet the definition of being a scientist in order for them to be educating others on scientific topics.
He's not teaching advanced science concepts, you don't need a background in science to teach bog-standard science to children
Science Guy is there to get kids excited about science, not to enforce scientific rigor
