Will we really get more alerts? Especially since the supreme court is essentially trying to neuter federal overwatch agencies such as the EPA?
Well, the NWS is who issues those alerts. They're under NOAA which is under the Department of Commerce which is under the....executive branch.
And if the guy wins who thought less COVID testing meant less cases, then I could see the same insane troll logic applied to "less severe weather alerts means less severe weather". I mean, he did use a sharpie on a hurricane map....π€¦ββοΈ

Thankfully the US supreme court can mainly only screw up the US, so the rest of us will get to enjoy these push alerts.
Well, at least until we vote for our own science-denying fuckheads who will promote other science-denying fuckheads to positions of power.
