A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

They should have a trash can outside the type of public restrooms where you have to turn a door handle to get out so you can throw away a paper towel if you use it to open the door. (lemmy.world)

Even doctor's offices don't do it. I get that it could mean double the trash to empty if you have one both inside and outside, but just for the purposes of public health...

The only fixture behind a door should be the toilet bowl. The sink and paper towel dispenser should actually be outside of the bathroom so everyone can see if you wash your hands or not.
