Do you think there will ever be another game with "Dark Souls" in the title? Or will it all be Elden Ring going forward (lemmy.one)

I don't know if it would make sense for them to ever make Dark Souls 4 since Elden Ring is the more popular franchise and they're probably going to stick with open world going forward. But I think it would be pretty sweet if they made a remake of Dark Souls with an open world or something.

Weren't they not even super into sequels for Dark Souls, but felt like they had to?

Just left a comment saying the same thing. Miyazaki doesn't like sequels and now that he is president of from software I don't think we will be getting many sequels other than armoured core .
