Kind of a "fluff" episode, it doesn't progress the plot too much but still great to watch - with bits of worldbuilding (the tengu) and characterisation.
Love troubles going from Hakuro to Benimaru to Rimuru. Poor guys (and slime).

I was somewhat confused if "a Tengu is the incarnation of an angel in a wolf's body" and not a race that Momiji can be born as a Tengu because biologically she would be just a wolf. Well we don't know if / how angels reproduce so perhaps that's why it took many years for her to be born.
I don't remember the fate of Kaede but perhaps there's a way to prolong her life? Tempest has extra magicules to spend (the dungeon is full of Veldora's) but we don't know if magicules capacity can be expanded easily (it happens e.g. in naming or evolution).

I feel like there aren't a lot of episodes that advances the plot these days... And I can barely follow the story anymore T_T
I'm not caught up on the anime, but I looked quick where it's at.
I almost dropped the manga at this point (where the anime currently is), but I let it go for a few chapters and then got caught up quickly, and it does get back into the interesting (to me) stuff.
I'm glad I just didn't drop it during this part of the story, if that is any encouragement to you to stick it out through this part. Maybe letting a few episodes come out and then watching it in a bigger block can help you find it more interesting and easier to hold your attention through the slow parts like it did for me. It just wasn't enough to hold my attention in little bites and I started to lose the plot myself.
