Yeah… but then what?
Unionised workers get higher salaries and shorter work weeks, more vacation days, and will be able to afford a house.

Yes… the comic just seems rather bleak to me, as unless a structure is in place, the next step is usually a variation on panel 1. People need to be thinking of the next step (usually unionization or worker-owned corporations).
Why? The next step is Socialism.

Then the people organizing the violent revolution kill off most of their supporters and become an authoritarian dictatorship, revealing that their desire to give power to the people was a lie the whole time. This is an oversimplification of course, but applicable 99% of the time.
