Well this seems like a biiit of a stretch, considering the states with the highest black populations are in the south. Sundown towns are a myth anyways outside of 30+ years ago and a black person would probably be better off in a small town in the south than they would in a small town in Indiana or Idaho.
Not sure what your first sentence has to do with anything? Yeah no shit that's why the south has a lot of black people.I never implied they happily chose to be there You put words Into my mouth with your entire comment and got up voted for it, that's fucking wild but not surprising. Clearly everyone missed the entire point of my comment. I live in Montgomery Alabama and worked at the Equal Justice Initiative Legacy Museum when it first opened. I do have an insight that most people are not privy to and everyone likes to assume you're a racist if you go against the narrative of posts like this. Bonkers
so what? That has nothing to do with rural racism.
and so, 30+ years ago....
Anyway, I visited my family in Houston and people casually referred to an area 2-3 blocks away across the railroad tracks as 'n*****rtown*. Thanks for your input though.
Fuck me, where did the time fly? I didn’t know 2017 was over 30 years ago.
