News and discussions about celebrities, whether they be actors, musicians, social media influences, politicians, or anyone else of reasonable renown, as well as other cultural issues.

It sure isn't an excuse, nor is it the only explanation for her behavior. It is of course complex (hence people are affected differently by the same things happening to them). But I'd go as far as to say it's a major contributing factor, and probably even the foundation which everything else sits upon. Had she not been traumatized like that I don't think she'd be saying the things she says today.
