Yeah but how are the profits supposed to be "socialized", jeeze its not like the government could actually own things.

The government owns GPS though, right?

Yeah, but GPS is a military system first and foremost. They just gave us plebs access to the much more degraded quality version for some reason (altruism? In my democracy? Probably not.)
