After 7 years, Google has lost its antitrust fight in the EU over Search, with a $2.7 billion fine on the table.

Yes, but not really.

Google's market cap is at 1.8 trillion.

This would like an average person getting a 100 dollar fine maybe. Which sounds like nothing, and it kind of is, but also even though the market cap is that high, 2.7 billion is still a big number that would cause issues with investors, board members, etc.

But really, not that big of a deal for google IMO.
