Hmm, not sure USA should be classed as a liberal democracy. I mean, they have a significant number of non-liberal states, an electoral college that doesn't represent the democratic vote... What puts them in the dark blue and Brazil and S.A. in the light blue?
If the USA doesn't stand for freedom and democracy, then it stands for nothing at all.
