The standard roster where I work is 4 days on and 4 days off. Well, sort of, because the second two work days are actually nights and finish at 6am, thus somewhat ruining the first day off (along with your body clock). This also requires working 12 hour shifts, on a rotating roster that means you can't do anything regularly on set days (or even figure out what day it actually is most of the time).
